Historia

Amongst the initial projects of the Staff Association, emerged the idea of creating a space in which to disseminate the various expressions of contemporary art from the member countries of the Bank. This is how the IDB Staff Association Art Gallery was born.

During its nearly fifty years of existence, the gallery has exhibited the work of emerging artists and renowned designers, painters, engravers, tapestry artists, photographers, sculptors, and ceramists, including internationally renowned artists, who embellished the showroom such as Marta Minujin and Nicolas Garcia Uriburu from Argentina and Miguel Angel De Vita from Uruguay.
