Luis German Ardila, Colombia and Horacio Tubio, Argentina: Two Artists, One Universe
14 - 25 September, 2015
Opening: Monday, September 14 from 6 to 8 pm
What connects two women heartened by the presence of the Archangel Gabriel, one with chicken legs and wings longing to fly, and the other, a Greek goddess, awaiting the fulfillment of a promise, eyes closed, as if absorbed in infinite contemplation? Or a poet in search of new and forgotten words to kindle inspiration in his heart and a muscular youth looking at the brightest star in the night sky, his hand cupped over one ear, as if awaiting an answer from the infinite? Or the man with eyes closed, immersed in a spirit of serenity as he balances the scale of justice, on which the hand of the universe has placed his heart, and Marc Chagall, his eyes also closed, stealing a kiss from his beloved wife Bella as they fly out the window of love into the infinite?
