We are pleased to present Form and Color, a solo exhibition by Spanish artist Angel Fuster.
At its basis, a painting is essentially a flat surface covered with colors and techniques that come together to create an image. How do we see colors? Do we appreciate the interaction of colors, the influence of one color on another? What do they evoke in us?
"I am not in search of the symbolic, nor the imitative color. I seek the color in itself that is only subject to the harmonious relationships established in each work. All of this establishes a tension, a fragile equilibrium between the gentle figurative forms and those reinforcing the two-dimensional design of the composition.
Born in Madrid, where he currently lives, Fuster's work has been presented in numerous solo and collective exhibitions in Spain and internationally.
