Peruvian-American photographer. In 2011, after 16 years of teaching Spanish at a university level, she decided to focus only on photography. While teaching, she studied photography at Missouri State University?s Department of Art and Design. From day one, she fell in love with photography and every day hefeel more passionate about it. She was born and lived my early years in Peru before she immigrated to the United States as a young adult. From a very early age, she traveled around Peru and witnessed its diverse cultures first hand. As she travels the world hecontinues to be curious about other cultures. Many years spent living outside of Peru have allowed her the opportunity to better appreciate that Peru?s vibrant and diverse cultures are fundamental to what makes Peruvian life unique. Peru is evolving, modernizing, and globalizing. Somehow, he wants to stop the changes. He fears losing what he left behind many years ago. He likes to preserve moments through photographs to document those moments that continue to make Peru unique.
